Got this for my husband. He opened one door each morning with his coffee and kept showing me what was inside. A fun little ritual.

For the one who loves to fish
A Gift They Can Open Each Day
Most gifts are over in a minute. This one lasts 24 days. Every morning they open a new door and find a new lure. Small moments, one after another.
You do not need to know a thing about fishing. Pick the calendar, hand it over, and let them enjoy the countdown. Every door is a little reminder that you know what they love.
The box holds 24 days of fishing lures. The videos show the kind of lures in the set: hard baits, soft baits, metal spoons, and spinners. Bright colors, sharp hooks, ready to tie on.
The lures are meant for fishing, not for looks. That is what makes each door fun to open.
Hooks are sharp. Keep the calendar away from small children.

Dana R.
Dad liked the countdown
Bought it for my dad. He never wants much, but he liked having something small to open every day.
Marcus T.
Nice box, easy doors
The box looks good on the counter and the doors open easily. Some days were bigger than others, which kept it fun.
Priya K.
Bought one for myself
I fish a little and wanted a treat. Opening a door before work was a good way to start the day.
Luis M.
Brother approved
Gave it to my brother. He lined the lures up on the table as he opened them and talked about where he would use each one.
Hannah B.
Good memories
My son and I opened a door together every night in December. Simple, and he looked forward to it.
Owen S.
He guessed it from the box
I wrapped it and he still knew what it was from the shape. He opened one door a day like I asked, mostly.
Jenna W.
Good mix
Some lures were small and some were bigger. He liked sorting them into his tackle box as he went.
Carl D.
Easy gift for a hard guy to shop for
My boyfriend fishes every weekend and I know nothing about it. This did the job and he talked about it for weeks.
Alicia F.
Lived on the kitchen counter
Every morning he opened one before work and told me what it was. I still do not know what a crankbait is.
Tom H.
Grandpa loved it
He is 78 and still fishes. He opened the doors with the grandkids and let them pick the color they liked.
Renee P.
Fun to open with my kid
My daughter and I took turns opening doors. She picked which lure we would try first in spring.

Your Questions, Answered
What is the calendar?
A 24-day fishing advent calendar. It is a printed box with 24 numbered doors and a fishing lure behind each one. Open one door a day.
What kind of lures are inside?
A mix of hard baits, soft baits, metal spoons and spinners, like the ones in the photos. They are real lures with real hooks, made to be fished.
Do I need to know anything about fishing?
No. Pick the calendar and hand it over. They open one door a day and find a new lure behind each one.
Does it come ready to gift?
Yes. It comes in a printed gift box with 24 numbered doors, ready to hand over or wrap.
Will it arrive before December 1?
Order by Friday, November 27 and it will get to you by Tuesday, December 1. If an order placed by then arrives after December 1, we add $10 in store credit to your account. Orders after that still ship fast.
How much is shipping?
Every order ships express and arrives in 1 to 2 business days. Express shipping is free on orders of $39 or more, so the calendar ships free. Orders under $39 pay $8. We ship worldwide.
Is it safe for kids?
The hooks are sharp. Keep the calendar away from small children, and open the doors together with older kids.
Can I return it?
Yes, if it is unopened. An unopened calendar with its seal intact can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Opened calendars are final sale. Email support@castandcabin.com to start a return.
